Advent Assembly - Andromeda

Today Andromeda performed a wonderful assembly to the rest of the school.

Netball Match- 28th November

Latest netball match report:- 

The girls played against Holy Trinity school on Wednesday and won 5 v 1. Excellent shooting from Shivani and amazing play from them all. They worked really well as a team today.

New Parent Forum Date- 12th December 9am

The Parents’ Forum is a meeting which aims to provide a two-way process for the school management team to consult with parents on school issues and to provide parents with a means of asking questions about the school. 

The next meeting will be held on Wednesday 12th December at 9am in the canteen. If you are unable to attend and would like something raised, please drop your question into the school office and it will be raised during the meeting.


Regular, open communication and consultation with parents is really important to the school. The Parent Forum provides a valuable way to listen to your ideas and concerns and seek your views, helping to make sure the needs of children and their families are met.

Examples of issues that have been discussed include:

- School development planning
- Parking and safe routes to walk
- School trips and events
- Parents evenings

Parking.

Would parents please park considerately when dropping children off or picking up from school. We have received complaints from people living nearby about illegal parking. Parking enforcement officers will now be patrolling the area.

12th December- Foundation Stage Nativity- 2pm

13th December- Key Stage One Christmas Play - 2pm 
18th December- Year 3 and 4 - 2.30pm
20th December- Year 5 and 6- 2.30pm

New Entrance for Key Stage One.

Open Tomorrow!

I can now officially open up the additional entrance and exit at the front of the school. This is only for Key Stage One parents, to help with the congestion at the start and end of the day.
(It will be locked during the rest of the school day.)

These are the different areas of Science we were learning about in the Launchpad, launching our 'It's shocking' IPC topic.

Parents Evening Reminder

The Parent Consultation Meetings will be held on Tuesday 13th November, 4.00-6.00pm, and Wednesday 14th November, 4.30-7.00pm. Once again, we will be holding the meetings in the main School Hall, rather than the classrooms. 

Remembrance Assembly

Year 6 today talked about Remembrance to the rest of the school using iPads, music and video.

Netball Match

Yesterday Wrotham Road had a netball match against Riverview Junior School. The girls played well but lost 5-0. A special mention for Shannon in Year 6 who was amazing and played an outstanding defending game! Well done!
